If you changed or upgraded your e reader you would upload the DRM e book and sync with Dropbox and all your annotations would appear. So, any additions or notations or hotlinks would be saved in Dropbox. But the absolute best was your annotations were linked to Dropbox. It took a while for Neosoar to get to a point of near perfection with these features I’ve listed above. Unfortunately, they seem to be recently out business. I was a big fan and user for many years of Neosoar another DRM e reader. Features like word definitions, phrase translation, underlining and highlighting in various colors, ability to google and hotlink to places, people and art described in ebooks. However, I find ADE very lacking in features. I had no problem loading in DRM ePub and reading them. The app also spontaneously deletes books sometimes, refuses to let you delete books other times, and is all-in-all one of the WORST apps ever developed. There are literally 15+ gigabytes of books and other files on this app that I am locked out of EVEN THOUGH I OWN THEM. I would never have downloaded anything to this app if I had known I would have these problems. This has caused major problems with my ability to do work, as there are now hundreds of files I can no longer access and don’t have the the ability to download again.

I have hundreds of PDF ebooks and files that I OWN (NOT RENTED) on this app, but about a month after I upload any file, the app tells me it has “expired” and can no longer be read, and that I’ll need to purchase it again. UPDATE: This app has cost me thousands of dollars in lost books. This app needs some major updates, because it is unusable in its current form. It also doesn’t sort the books in the same order across devices when I try to sort by anything other than title or author, and there is no option to manually sort the books into folders to keep it easier to find things with a big library. Original review: The app crashes literally every 30 seconds and doesn’t display the covers of my books (it just shows greyed-out squares).
